Performancing –> ScribeFire

Just randomly browsing Firefox Add-ons this morning and found out that one of my favourite add-ons, Performancing For Firefox, has changed into ScribeFire.

For you who don’ t know yet, PFF (now ScribeFire) is a full featured text editor attached in Mozilla Firefox which can post the thing you typed directly into your blog (after being configured, of course).

And for my fellow bloggers who is still using B**gs*o*, I’m super sure that you all are going to love it. Like, LOVE it. I know the pain of logging in (that failed) and even if you can make it, the pain of publishing (that failed…too) since I once used that system. Ever since it upgraded into the said-to-be-not-beta-anymore version, I heard it’s getting worse. Lucky I have converted to WordPress before I’m forced to upgrade. ScribeFire removes all these logging in and publishing hassle in an instant!

Hmm, so.. What’s changed in ScribeFire? I don’t really see significant changes. Maybe it’s just that the buttons have changed color into orange, which IMHO don’t really match the whole interface which is kinda blue-y.

Using ScribeFire is really a no-fuss, hassle-free thing. Its icon sit at the bottom right corner of your Mozilla Firefox and pops up instantly when you click on it.

And voila! A full WYSIWYG editor right on your browser! Even better than WordPress’ WYSIWYG, to be honest

What’s more? You can add Technorati tags into your post instantly, you can bookmark the posts at del.icio.us using the very same tags, you can also send trackbacks and pings instantly, just from that one window of ScribeFire.

Actually I wanted to post up a tutorial to set up ScribeFire, but really, I have more important things to attend to. Like… Coding for my project? So I assume you guys are smart enough to use ScribeFire heh heh

5 Things You Didn’t Know About Me

In ping.sg this meme has gone around for a while. No I wasn’t tagged by anyone, but I saw this meme here. Haha. Hi chillycraps =D

Let’s start, shall we?

1. I have Dayak blood. It’s inherited from my mom, who was born in Borneo. Mom said my great grandmother, or great great great great grandmother was a Dayak. My mom even said that the Dayak characteristics are very evident in me (the physical evidence). I dunno. Just look for dayak woman pictures and compare my picture. Don’t compare me to this one, of course, since I don’t weight my ears.

Dayak woman weight their ears because their beauty is measured by the length of their ear lobes. I can’t prove this now actually, since my google search always ends up in eBay page that sells the rings which are used to elongate the ear lobes. Duh.

2. I never watched the trilogy of The Lord of The Rings. Not once. Really. I dunno why. –; I know a bit of the story line though. :p

3. I bite my nails regularly. Thus I don’t need any nail clippers. Believe me, they look neat and nice. Oh, and short.
No, not my nails. XP

4. My mother once suspended my right to possess a cellphone. It was because I used it to be lovey-dovey and cutey-cuddly (whatever that means) with my former boyfriend. Hahaha. I still want to laugh if I remember that. XD

5. I have been able to read since I was 2. Instead of giving me toys to play or taking me out for a walk, my parents decided to teach me how to read. Hahahaha. Wonderful!
I’m not a Caucasian though…

Professor of Spamming

It’s a usual thing for me to get hundreds of spams everyday. But when I checked my Akismet spam box today, there are several spams that caught my eye :

They caught my eye because the URL provided is a .edu URL, which means it’s an address of an educational institution. And well, I checked salisbury.edu to check whether it is a fake, and turned out it’s a real university.

I then checked the more specific URL. The URL leads to a personal page of Salisbury University’s faculty member. Not bad. Professor of Finance. Hm.

I already sent him an e-mail informing this (there is a possibility he’s been infected by a virus/spyware anyway). Wonder what will he reply..

We’ll see.

Moving or not yahh.. Cannot make up my mind leh.. Dunno wat to do.. So blur already…

Whoops. My Singlish is getting worse. Or.. better? Nevertheless, excuse me. :-p

Can anyone please give suggestion.. Should I move from this beloved blogspot blog to that “geeky” wordpress blog?
I mean, yea I should say wordpress is nice. So many plug-ins to choose. I can make my blog really cool. (and geeky) Maybe there’s not a lot of template-modifying options than there is for blogger. And it’s very ma fan (sorry cannot find a link to explain ma fan. cannot find an english word to explain either) to change the template. I hate using FTP just to change my template. In blogger, I just copy-paste and done!
