The Cat House on The Kings

This is an amazing place (and an amazing lady!).

This place houses hundreds of cats (and dogs). No cage, no kill. They just wander around safe and happy.

A friend on plurk shared the video.. Here it is..

I made a donation to them! I mean, this place deserves attention and donation! So, donate to them (there are other ways to contribute) and take care for the cute kitties! :)

Why Why

I hear the “Why, why” ringing.
Oh, Why
Why are you still here, oh Why?

Why, Why, why am I still asking?
When I know it’s all because of me
Too coward to continue
Too afraid to listen
Refusing to know the truth

So, why, Why, why are you still here?
Floating around, singing “Why, why, why”
Along with the what-ifs
Along with the memories
Memories of crushed hopes and sleepless nights
Memories of tears and swallowed pain
Pain, Pain, why did you come with Why?
Tears, Tears, why are you still rolling down?

Tell me why, Why, why can’t I let go?
Why, Why, why can’t I stop?

Oh, Why
You have stayed in my mind for so long
Now why, Why, why can’t you just go?

I hear the why why ringing
Hi, Why
I wish I can say bye to you soon…

And thus it was 23rd of May, the first day of the competition.. It was the sacred music category.

I didn’t take a lot of pictures since I was, obviously, singing. My choir’s repertoire for the sacred category..

  2. Exsultate Justi by Lodovico Viadana
  3. Dona Nobis Pacem by Urmas Sisask
  4. Salmo 150 (Psalm 150) by Ernani Aguiar

Since so many people asked…

I’m not back to school yet.

I decided to extend my internship so that I will meet my 10-week requirement. Hence I’m skipping the first week of school.

It’s not based on a shallow reason to complete my 10-week requirement. It’s solely based on my preference that next time i would like to undertake another type of internship (not IS internship). IS internship requires at least 10 weeks, and if I don’t finish my IS internship now, I will need to do another IS internship later. And which company will offer 1-week internship? That means, if I don’t finish the 10-week now, I will have to embark on another full IS internship and thus hampering me to do another type of internship.

And in the theme of “since so many people asked…”, my 2nd major is Corporate Communications.
I know IS+Corporate Communications = ? or even bleh, but never mind. It is what I like to do, and that’s it.

Have a great day all…
I’m so looking forward to be back at school! I miss school!

When fake means beautiful

I’m serious about this.

Take a look at this..

Yes the photo is photoshopped. Don’t bitch.

Anyway, it was my first time using fake eyelashes! Bought a starter kit in Sasa, which I don’t recommend buying at all! It cost me 16.90 and it consists of one pair of falsies, glue, and eyelash applicator. But then! The eyelash applicator is only a piece of plastic folded into two and supposedly will help you hold the falsies. The eyelashes were made in Indonesia (HAHAHA OMG), and the glue is just so little. DON’T BUY. SERIOUSLY.

A view from the side (so you can really see the falsies)

Just as my hair, my eyelashes are straight, as in very very straight and very “weak”. As in, it always drops down. Nothing can help it. I’ve tried the eyelash curler, the conventional one and the battery-operated one with the heating base. Mascara, no matter how curvy the brush is, doesn’t really work either. What did work was I put on some mascara and curl it after that. I know it’s the wrong order, but it was the only thing that worked!

But anyway with my pretty falsies I can do more! And prettier!

So yes, fake means beautiful here.

Happy Independence Day, Indonesia

Happy Independence Day, my dear home country. Haven’t seen your face in almost a year. Heard you’re doing good. And by good I mean as usual. And by as usual I mean just as bad as before.

Nevertheless I’m sure people will rejoice in this independence day (which falls on a holiday no less!). Though you might not have big platform with thousands of people performing/watching or magnificent fireworks like what the country I live in had, I’m sure independence day is a happy moment, happier than all things.

63. You’re getting old. But still strong. Be proud. So far the only thing we lost is the East Timor which is not that big loss anyways. A lot of rebels tried to break free but no, they’re still there, and we’re still one. Indonesia.

Yes I guess it’s time to pat yourself in the back and be glad that, well, after years of threats, you’re still one. United.

Happy Independence Day, Indonesia. Even though I’m not there at the moment you know my citizenship still belongs to you.
And my heart too.
