Eighteen months ago I was pretty much ambivalent about pop music in general -- until I ran into Morning Musume. The singers in your fourth and fifth clips above are now among my very favorites in the world, to the point of me flying to Yokohama and Tokyo on Jan. 24-Feb. 2 to see many of those sames girls perform live at Yokohama Arena.
