My glorious new internet connection has been on and off. Er, no, correction. Actually it’s my home desktop.
When I have happily surfed internet, then suddenly… It just blacked out. Reminded me of my old laptop (which is, sadly, I’m using now).
Well the thing is.. Now it’s back on.. Not the desktop.. I asked for my connection to be re-routed to my old laptop (coz apparently they don’t have the driver for the modem for Mac. Grrr), and so here I am!
And before I’m too late… Merry Christmas to you all! Stop fighting. The 2 types of blogposts I typically see at Christmas is either “Christmas is about Jesus Christ being born to this world, so let’s focus on it rather than on presents and decorations” or “Christmas is just too commercialized! Why are we still giving presents and buying decorations just to make those slick companies richer?”
I say, heck. Christmas was originally a worship to the Sun God. So, yeah, face it, Jesus Christ was not born that day. Not that I’m saying we shouldn’t celebrate. I’m still a Christian and everyone knows it for sure. But well… If you say Christmas should be all celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ… Think again.
What I believe is, Christmas should be the time for us to gather in peace. Especially for families.. After 1 year not being able to meet properly, isn’t Christmas just the right moment? After all of these days committed to our so-called commitment, why not spend just one freaking day for the people that care for us the most, people who were always there but we abandoned?
Not that it’s happening to me though. Sigh.
Nevertheless… Merry Christmas all =)
