Let It Shine #2 – Coz I Couldn’t Choose

Too free nowadays?
Or too stressed.
Over YM (Yahoo Messenger)
Me : I can’t take this anymore. I’m tired.
Friend : Maybe because you’re not happy doing what you’re doing now?
Me : hmm
Over MSN Messenger
Friend : Hey are you ok?
Me : Yeah, kinda… Or at least I hope I am…
Friend : Sometimes I just have this feeling that you’re unhappy about something…
Me : Huh? Me? Why?
Friend : Dunno. Just a gut feeling.
Me : No lah. I’m just stressed with school and stuff.. Usual thing lah..
This really makes me wonder…
Why do I seem so unhappy?
And what’s happy?
I’ve forgotten how it feels.. Since you’re gone…
Okay I’m being overly melancholic and sentimental. Sorry. I’ve started to lose my sanity due to the number of projects (and a project equals to many problems. Multiply it by the number of projects).
Sometimes I just wish.
That you’ll stand.
Tell the world, no boundary.
Tell me…
Let me see your smile
for it quenches my thirst
Don’t leave me dying
I don’t need everything
It’s just a matter of
The littlest things that take me there….~

Oh Time where did you go? Why am I losing you?
I tried to work with you as effective as I can, but you won’t agree with me.
You keep running out. I keep losing you. I can’t keep track of you.
Why, time, why? Be a good boy and let me finish my work, can you?
Btw, hereby I release my song.. Still a cappella coz my friend can’t finish a backing track for me. =(
Enjoy. Prepare your ears to be….. dead.
I would be very glad if there’s somebody willing to make an accompaniment for it. =)
I guess some business spin their heads too violently to find a marketing solution. Ads, posters, brochures, even walking billboards… You name it.
But I guess sometimes they forget about simple things. Free giveaways!! People love freebies. Even just small unimportant things. As long as it’s free, they don’t care. Human nature I guess.
Well I came accross this website which offers great custom promotional products. You can choose from many, and I mean maaaaaaaaaany, choices of gimmicks you wish to give away! I like the stationery give aways. It’s always the best. People will surely use it coz they need it. And then they also have other products such as USB hub, mouse pads, computer brushes, etc. (well let’s say you organize a “geek event”? That’s the perfect give aways!)
I’m pretty amazed with the products they offer. And it’s not very expensive. What I see is that a piece of pen only costs 0.18 USD. Kewl.
Oh and you can select what artwork to display on these products. You may email your own artwork, you may upload it, or better still, you can make it online, along with its cute free cliparts!
Why waste more money on expensive advertising? Go to Gimmees and order small-but-important give-aways!
Whoa.
This defines joy.
Joy is the feeling when you see the 3+2 digits on a cheque after those freaking long hours of working.
Damn freaking long.
And it’s not some lame make-money-online-fast-and-easy cheque. It’s the cheque of money I earn by squeezing my brain and my energy out.
It really feels great.
Ah, joy.

Happy 14th birthday!
I know. All my family members have birthdays near to each other. After my twin siblings, then came my dad’s bday at 4th, then this sister at 8th, later my mom’s at 23rd.
Mine is on May 4th. Sigh.
Anyway, happy birthday to my first sister Fiona

(She’s the one on the left. The girl on the right is my cousin)
I don’t want to sing any happy birthday songs. You sing better than me, always. But here’s just a short track to say happy birthday…
I can’t say much since I’m pretty much very busy now (therefore, sorry for not calling home). Well, may you always persevere and have a strong will!
Happy birthday! I look forward seeing you here!
I love fortune tellers. Not that I believe them. The thing is, they always make my day by saying that I’m a lucky person. All of them. The one who read palms. The one who does physiognomy. Even those small pieces of paper that my mother got from the temple. Somehow all my astrology (Western or Chinese) readings always say good things. Maybe the worst thing I can read is about being stubborn and not liking rules, but hey, that can mean I’m strong-willed and potential to be a good leader (I AM THE RULE).
Whatever. The thing is, I’m (said as) a lucky person.
However, apparently the buses in Singapore totally destroy all these revelations.
Seriously, am I jinxed so that I don’t get the buses I want easily?
There was one time when I planned to go to church. Taking the bus, it will take about 20 minutes to go there. The mass would start at 11 AM and I’m already at the bus stop at 10.30 AM. The plan was soon after the mass finished, I’d go to have lunch with my friend.
And I waited. And waited. And waited.
I waited for freaking 15 minutes and the bus still hasn’t come yet!!!
Okay, wait for another minute… And there’s no sign of the bus.
I called my friend and asked to make our appointment earlier. I would be late to the church anyway.
That was the first one.
The second one was with my friend. We planned to take a common bus home from school. Actually she lives in Orchard which means she can take any bus home, but I can only take a particular bus which passes by Orchard road too.
And somehow, the bus just didn’t show up… At least before 20 minutes.
Okay, it might be a coincidence but stay tune to the last story!
I really wanted to come home that day. I was worn out and stressed out from endless work to do. Furthermore I carry heavy bags, plus my laptop in hand. There was a taxi passing by but well…. I gotta save money.
So I walked to the bus stop at YMCA building, hoping to take bus 124 and arrive safely at home.
But when I was about to cross the road, the bus 124 just passed by and disappeared far far away.
FINE.
I thought that I could take bus 131 from the bus stop in school. It’s one bus stop before the YMCA bus stop. So I walked to reach there. It’s not very far.
And when I was about to cross the road to reach the bus stop, the bus 131 just went away….
See?
I’m seriously jinxed.
Btw, I finally went home with bus 131. After about 10 minutes waiting. Don’t believe those fancy boards telling the arrival time of buses. They are really lying.
