Big and Wasted

Sometimes I can’t understand why some things are put in some places without clear reasons.

Like this thing I found in The Heeren Shops (sometimes confused with HMV, eh?).

Big TV. Screening MTV. Whoa. It must have been years since I tune in MTV. I know, I’m anti-social. But I know YouTube.

When I captured the picture, it was screening Lily Allen’s Alfie. Lily Allen is pretty, the whole video is funny, and the song………

I don’t know.

Simply because they didn’t turn on the sound.

Instead I was hearing some hiphop songs from nearby clothes store with the lyrics that revolved around :

“Yo, yo. What’s up, what’s up. What the f**k, m**herf**ker?” times three. or more.
“Go, go, go, go, go, go, go…………….” It’s an endless ellipsis, if you want to know.
“Yo man, yo man. Yo, yo, yo. Yo girl, yo girl. Yo, yo, yo. Let’s play yo-yo”

Seriously. Electricity does cost something, you know. And of course to cure stiff neck because you keep looking up costs something, too.

If anybody knows the management of The Heeren Shops, can you please persuade him/her to give that beautiful TV to me instead? Appreciate it.

Neeway. Took that picture while eating at The Graffiti Cafe. As its name suggests, the cafe is full of graffitis. This is the graffiti on my table…

Kinda cool. Especially they’re serving my favourite Pon Tian Mee.
