The Things We Never Say…

Posted by: sylv In: Trivial Things

We keep close enough
We keep far enough
But I think it’s over
When we’re afraid to talk

The same fear we feel
The same thing we don’t say
The same thing we both understand

No need of words
No need of gestures
We keep silent and we understand

Passing notes, passing looks
We both fear, we both pout
We pretend we don’t know
But inside we understand

The things we never say
The things deep inside

Sometimes feeling doesn’t need to be expressed
Coz we understand…

(i think can’t be categorized as a poem)

I think it can be called a poem, but in the free style genre. ‘Poem’ is so broad nowadays lol.

By the way, love your “Welcome back [user]” thing.
