My Phantom Of The Opera
Not that I fall in love with the Phantom. He’s an a**h**e. Ha ha ha.
After days of anxious waiting, finally I managed to go to this acclaimed musical : The Phantom Of The Opera. I watched it with Edgar.
We booked the VIP seat (don’t ask why). But it seemed to me that to Esplanade, VIP seat means movable cushion seat with wide leg rooms and a special room before going inside the so-called box.

Some lame bank history at the background… Coz the VIP box is sponsored by a bank… Btw it matches Edgar’s shirt right…
So how was it? Well. Absolutely fantastic. Despite me not knowing that my seat can be moved to my preference so that I can see more clearly and comfortably. (I ended up sitting straight at act I) And despite those Ang Mo couple beside me that brought a glass of wine inside the box and ended up spilling it. (I love to drink but not to sniff the smell of wine in a midst of great musical served upon my eye) Oh and they kissed passionately in the dark. Beside me. What a clever way to remind me of my single-ness. Gah.
Not that I regret taking VIP seat, of course.
Anyway, back to the topic. I really love the show! It was really worth it. The costumes, the setting, it’s just plain amazing! So intricate and detailed, I still wonder how much money they spent for that hehehe. The voices are superb. I wish I could look closer at their face expression though.. Unfortunately I can’t.
All in all, it was a totally fascinating experience! Exciting! Amazing! Insert any thesaurus here!
Totally recommended. Ugh. I can’t wait to watch it again…

GAH YOU BOUGHT VIP?! I bought Cat 3 and I already paid so muchhh…
VIP can’t see their faces then Cat 3 how…

coz i’m sitting at the second floor mah.. far from stage…
it was edgar that forced me to buy VIP together with him. He said it’s better to be VIP seat or nothing. Gah.

but I can see the whole stage and the whole set and the sound quality is superb from the box. And the wide leg rooms! I kept seeing people outside my box have difficulty to get back to their seats.
