New Year’s Eve

Well.. Yeah.. I am finally able to go online and update my blog, though very slow. My deepest condolences to earthquake victims at Taiwan, who somehow got abandoned because people in the world are just too busy complaining about the internet disconnection.

Pathetic people.

Newayz, like as always, I got nothing to do at this New Year. The Eve and the Celebration alike. Besides New Year always makes me think about the new term starting super duper soon…

Aaarrghhhh… I want holiday….

In any case… Happy New Year… Soon.

title’s not needed

What should you do when the one thing you should love are destroyed, little by little, slowly but surely, just in front of your very eyes?

You know the time when it all turns into ashes will come. It will come chasing you. Not silently. It will shout, as loud as it can.

What should you do? Pretending to be brave, facing it?

Or run away?

“Don’t run away from problems. It won’t solve it”

Tsk. Cliche. And you know how much I hate cliches.

Ok, we shouldn’t run away.
But should we stand there and let ourselves be crushed?

Maybe sometimes it’s better to stand clear and distant.
And watch it grows bigger and worse, destroying the thing you should love…
And cry for it, watching the thing ripped, hit, destroyed….
The thing won’t have any shape anymore.

At least, it doesn’t do us any harm.

…..I guess.

And sometimes it seems to be the only wise choice.

Christmas, everyone!

Merry Christmas everybody!

May the joy of Christmas hug you with peace….

Regardless whether you’re celebrating or not…

The joy of Christmas is for everyone!

So Merry Christmas my beloved friends!

Christmas Eve

It’s already Christmas Eve.. I guess my blog deserves an update.

Christmas has never been a big thing for me, to be honest. I mean, I used to have small christmas tree when I was 6 or something, but.. Let’s just say I never celebrate it properly. Decorating a christmas tree, exchanging presents, carolling? They are only on the films, babe.

Call me apathetic, but I’m never excited if Christmas comes. It’s another presents here there and everywhere, and another complaints about how commercialized christmas is.

Just this morning I woke up at 9, took my bath and brushed my teeth (note that i seldom do these activities in holidays. ha ha ha), and riding the infamous bajaj to my church.

And then……

There was silence.

Ugh. So silent?

Okay, no people. Hmm. Okay. Unusual. Maybe there are just too many people out on holidays so they don’t come to church? Hmm. Silence. Hmm.

“Ga ada misa jam 10 mbak…”
(There are no mass at 10 AM, Miss)

Argh.

Another Trial

If using wordpress wysiwyg editor didn’t work to show videos.. Lemme try the performancing!

VideoJug: How To Be The Perfect Boyfriend

(if u see a video above this line, means I made it using performancing)
(and using the stupid dial-up)

To-Buy List

I know it’s stupid to list the things I have to buy in Indonesia here, but rather than scribbling it in some paper, it’s better to put it here.

  • Some hair accessory that can be used to make your hair not falling down when taking a bath. Whatever the English is. Bahasa Indonesianya, jepitan rambut.
  • Feminine napkins. It’s so damn expensive in Singapore.
  • Cusson’s baby soap. The best soap to wash underwears. No offense though.
  • Some hair accessory. Hahaha.
  • Some print T-shirts. I got bored with my collection of Polo Shirts already.
  • INDOMIEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Last Day of Java

I know.. I should be listening to the Java course.. Rite now it’s about inheritance.. No, no, it doesn’t have something to do with your grandparents. Puh-leez.

I just coined a new syndrome guys. It’s called Nearing-Coming-Home Syndrome. One significant symptomp is Dry Pocket, when you don’t have any more money in your wallet, even in your bank account.

Ah. Damn lame la.
(translation in indonesian : jayus ah)
(translation in “good” english : errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. don’t ask =p)

Yesterday I went to Far East Plaza with Yanice and Jo Ann. Yanice wanted to buy new shoes. And me and Jo Ann.. Hmm. No idea. Hahaha. I was planning to make an omelette yesterday but due to the lack of eggs, it must be postponed. What’s an omelette without eggs? Like, duh. I also can’t buy some new eggs due to my “dry pocket”. Uuuugghh.

Okay. Lemme go back to my coding.. Rather than reading this or this.

Or watching the videos here. Man, they’re damn hilarious, tell you.

Java

Currently, I’m in the Java course. Not that island, puh-leez what should I study more about the island I’ve been living in for 17 years? Or should I say all my life.. This is the programming language that the Sun Microsystems named as Java. Don’t ask me why. Duh!

Somehow the language is similar to C# language, the one I learned before. Or maybe it’s the C# which is similar to Java.. Ah whatever..

I should be listening to my lecturer (who came from French and pronounce “variable” as  “viable”. Don’t get me wrong. It’s super cute) right. this. second. Duh.

Well a blog should be a diary, so let me tell you some stories that happened.

  • I cooked. I seriously cooked. I did cook! What I cooked is Creamy Chicken Mushroom, whose video can be viewed here. I love video jug. Well turned out it was not so creamy. Haha. According to Adit it’s nice but sinful. :-p turned out it was too.. oily.. or should I say..Butter-y.. Hahahaha. :-D
  • I went to the Embassy of Indonesia to report my change of address so I won’t have to pay 1 million rupiahs when I came back to Singapore again! Woo-hoo. Oh, but, how come they placed my embassy in such an elite place but unreachable?? Gee. I need to walk for about… 1 km or so to reach the embassy from the bus stop. It was placed in such an elite area. Tsk. And turned out when I reached the embassy, there were people reaching there using their Mercedes, BMW, ah you name it darlings. Gee. So I was, like, “Ok, so this is what happened to poor Indonesian. Ugh”.
  • I am learning Java… ANd I wonder why my java codes somehow always differ from the solution. Sigh. It works but.. Well.. I don’t know whether I’m right and the solution is wrong or the other way around. Or maybe it can have multiple solutions.

Enough for now. I should get back to my codes. Codes codes codes. Code is poetry. Haahaaa.
