Sengaja dibikin table supaya bisa sekalian bwt nanti terjemahin.. Huehehehe..
Cukup terorganisir kan???

Laen kali bikin di Excel dulu aja deh. Wew.

Sebenernya ada garis2 yang mau didelete.. Tapi.. Yasudzlah. >_<

unimportant…hehe

Yew. I’m writing (er, typing) this in order to kill time before I watch the match between the Netherlands and Argentina.
Ah. As if i would be able to stay awake?
2 more hours Sylv.. Survive, survive!
Ah, you crazy mosquitoes! Why are you keeping sucking my blood eh?
Where’s my eucalyptus oil? (minyak kayu putih maksudnya)

You know what? I’m currently confused. Bahasa Indonesianya, ragu-ragu. About what?
(whoo I love mix-mix lingos! XD)
Information Systems Management (ISM). A mix between IT and business. Which are actually my points of interest.
My friend said that there are two possibilities as the graduate of ISM.
The 1st one, you’re good in both business and IT.
The 2nd one, you’re bad in both business and IT. (indonesianya : nanggung gitu skillnya)

Arh. Am I gonna be able to cope with it? I mean, can I get that high GPA as my cousin got? Erh. My cousin’s major, in my opinion, is far easier than mine. Communication. Hello?? Does it require your understanding of programming lingo?? Does it require practicing making software bla bla blaaah?
Juz read on your books. (in my cousin’s case, photocopied books. LOL) Read and understand. And then write everything you can remember on your test paper. Voila! GPA of 3.98 is in your hand! (that’s my cousin’s GPA, btw)
Anyway, I don’t know what GPA stands for. LOL

Up ‘til now, I still don’t have a clue about programming. U know lah, the base of computer. Not a bit. Yew. I have even forgotten M.Excel’s formulas. Yeeeeewww.
The only formal education of my programming was 5 years ago. I was on the 2nd grade of junior high school and joined computer club. (along with a dream together with my friend, Kinski, to build a website on our own. Jeeezh. What a dream)
And what I learned was just the very very very basic algorithm. It was like this:
Ada 3 ember. Ember A berisi air tanah. Ember C berisi air laut. Buatlah ember C berisi air tanah.

Halah. Ga penting ya? (-_-‘) Itu jg gw dah lupa-lupa inget soalnya. Pokoknya intinya, penyelesaiannya adalah:
· Pindahkan isi ember C ke ember B.
· Pindahkan isi ember A ke ember C.

That’s it. Yew. Penting ga? Halah..

Wakakakak.
Btw, mau tau saya dan Kinski mao bikin website apa?
Kita mau bikin website “Dr. Cinta”… Buat bantuin orang-orang yang lagi jatuh cinta gitu. Yuckz banget ga seeeehh? OMG. Wakakakakakaka.
Kalo Kinski baca.. Hoy Ki! Gw masih nyimpen loh segudang polling kita.. Wakakakakakakaka…

Pernah juga, waktu saya masih SMP juga, kelas 3 kalo ga salah. Lagi asik2nya maen internet gratis di sekolah.
Di samping saya, 2 junior saya lagi asik maen komputer.
“EH jangan pake itu! Yang kayak gini aja!”
“Lah ntar musuhnya gimana?”

Huhuhuhu. OMG. Mereka lagi bikin game. Pake Visual Basic juga. Kenapa saya masih segini goblok ampe sekarang? Yew…
Waktu itu saya ngintip2 yang sedang mereka lakukan. ada kata2 “Snesh” ato something like that lah.
Keesokannya, saya coba2 maen Visual Basic.
Hasilnya?
Nol besar lah. Wong ga ngerti apa2. Huhuhuhuhu.

Hobi komputer saya sempet terhenti waktu masuk SMA. Er, sejak SMP juga udah terhenti sih. Komputer saya akhirnya cuma jadi alat buat bikin tugas dan maen game.. Weh…
Baru keinget lagi soal komputer waktu iseng2 bikin personal website (yang sekarang lagi dalam time-limit-less reconstruction. XP). Punya proof of existence di dunia maya.
Aaaarrrhh darn you mosquitoes!!!

Yah, kalo ditilik sih, kalo soal komputer dan electronic thingy, gw ga pernah mengalami kesulitan buat ngerti. Jadi gw ga pernah jadi orang yang panik-panik ga jelas waktu tiba-tiba muncul dialog box di monitor.

Aduuuuh, tapi tetep aja. Landasan pengetahuan saya tentang ilmu komputer sebenernya masih kuraaaaaaaang.
Gimana dunx ah ah ah ah ahhh……………
Ragu abis nih. Apa mendingan pindah ke Management aja? Aaaarrghhh. Tapi saya suka komputeeeeerrr…

Tauk ah gelapppp.

Birokrasi??

Wadooooh paraaaaaah. Udah jem 3.33 PM dan saya belon mandi pagi. Hihihihhi… Udah ah mandi dulu baru ngetik blog. =P

Duh setelah itu pengen nonton-nonton youtube. Tapi karena lama loadingnya.. (hhh..biasa lah..) Mari ngeblog dulu bentar.

Mau bahas apa sekarang?
Mau bahas birokrasi.

Sebel. Mana pake jalan udara. Fiskalnya langsung sejuta rupiah. Astaganaga.
Yang contoh Singapura adalah pengalaman saya sendiri. Ga boong loh. Hari ini apply, besoknya dah approved. Sekarang saya udah punya Foreign Identification Number S’pore+Student’s Pass (tapi apakah saya bakal kuliah sono? Sigh). Hebat yah? Cepet, tanpa birokrasi. Emang nantinya bayar sih. Tapi kan itu nanti… Toh cuma 40S$, kalo ga salah..

Saya jadi ga bisa bayangin kalo tiba2 gw ga jadi kuliah SMU. Aneh kali ya… Udah ampe dapet student’s pass bla bla bla, cuma belon bayar aja..

Let’s see..

The Medal of Saint Benedict

So, my friend gave me a medal as my birthday present. (well actually i didn’t know that it is a medal) It looks like this :
Photobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Please forgive the darkness. VGA camera dude.. How can you complain?
I hang it at my cellphone.
I thought it was just a simple cross-shaped thing. With random letters printed on that. I really didn’t know.

But then.. It turns out that it’s a medal of Saint Benedict.
To give you clearer view of what’s printed on the medal, here I got you a picture from Sancta.org

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
See the letters on the “back” side? I really thought that they were random letters.
You wanna know the fact? The fact is, this medal actually has exceptional powers against the demons of Hell. (taken from the page)
And I thought it was just a cross with random letters. Yew.
Okay, now I’m gonna tell you the meaning of those “random letters”. (taken from the page)

The front of the medal shows St. Benedict holding a cross in one hand and the book of his Rule in the other. Flanking him on each side are the words: Crux S. Patris Benedicti (The Cross of the Holy Father Benedict).
Below his feet are these words: Ex S M Casino MDCCCLXXX (From the Holy Mount of Cassino, 1880). On that date , Monte Cassino was given the exclusive right to produce this medal.Inscribed in the circle surrounding Benedict are the words: Ejus in obitu nostro presentia muniamur (May his presence protect us in the hour of death).
The other side of the medal is where the real exorcistic force reveals itself. In the center is the Cross. Benedict loved the Cross and used it to drive away demons.
The vertical beam of the Cross has five letters: C.S.S.M.L., meaning Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux (May the holy Cross be for me a light).
The horizontal beam of the Cross also has five letters: N.D.S.M.D., meaning Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux (Let not the dragon be my guide).
The four large letters at the angles of the Cross: C S P B stand for Crux Sancti Patris Benedicti (The Cross of the Holy Father Benedict).
Encircling the Cross in a circle around the right margin are these letters: V.R.S.N.S.M.V., meaning Vade retro Satana; nunquam suade mihi vana (Begone Satan! Suggest not to me thy vain things).
Around the left margin of the circle are these letters: S.M.Q.L.I.V.B., meaning Sunt mala quae libas; ipse venena bibas (The drink you offer is evil; drink that poison yourself).
At the top of the circle is the word PAX (Peace).
Now I really know what a fabulous gift this is. Thank’s! You know who you are, don’t you? =)

Don’t sleep too much on holiday…

…..coz it’ll make you lethargic.
Believe me.. Eeeeewwwww…. >_<

Darn it Sylv, stop browsing all around the net like that! Juz start blog something important rather than browsing without any purpose which will increase your telephone bill!

Blog something important? Hmmm.. I seldom read the newspapers nowadays. And even if I read it, there are only news that I think ain’t appropriate to be put in this blog. Like, the hot mud in East Java? I know it’s a pathetic situation but, hello? Hot mud?
Hmmm. Typical, typical.

Now, how about this one! Kelulusan UN sangat memuaskan! Hmmm…
Hmmmmmm…..

Or read this one. Cerita sedih (ato goblok?) dari seorang siswa SMA yang udah dapet PMDK (apa SPMB sih? Ato apa sih?
Yew. Puh-leeeeezzzz.. Where have you been?? Apa karena dah diterima jadi ga belajar matematikA??
Aeh, kayak nilai matematika saya bagus aja. Ah, tapi kan saya lulus!

Nah nah nah.

Jadi begini saya mikirnya. Masing-masing universitas punya standar sendiri dalam menerima mahasiswa.
Mis. Univ A requires rata2 ujian 7. Terus untuk masing2 jurusan berbeda requirementsnya. Misalnya, untuk jurusan Komputer, nilai Mat harus 8. Atau untuk jurusan Komunikasi nilai Bahasa Indonesia/Inggris harus 8.
Univ B requires rata2 ujian cukup 6 aja. Minimal nilai mat harus 5.
And so on…
Mungkin aja dikasih predikat-predikat kayak lulus kuliah gitu. “Tamat SMA cum laude”, anyone? “Tamat SMA (Hons)”. “Tamat SMA summa cum laude”.
Oh, okay, stop it.
Jadi nanti di kriteria penerimaan mahasiswa baru, persyaratannya bukan “Lulus SMA tahun blablabla” tapi “Tamat SMA dengan nilai ujian rata-rata blablabla”.
Terus didefinisiin lebih jelas lagi.
(misalnya)
Fakultas Teknik
Nilai ujian Matematika minimal 6.50, nilai ujian Fisika minimal 6.00

Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik
Nilai ujian Bahasa Indonesia minimal 7.00, nilai ujian Bahasa Inggris minimal 6.50

Fakultas Ekonomi
Nilai ujian Ekonomi minimal 7.00, nilai ujian Bahasa Inggris minimal 6.00

and so on…
Is there any chance that he’s looking at this blog?? Huahauhauhau)

Tapi.. Ga ada salahnya berharap dunk?

Comments are waited.

Ciao guys..

∫yLv (huehueheu. Like I did in my old blog.. That integral thingy has become so cute now! =D

Aku lulus.. Aku lulus.. =D

Monica, Sylvia, Eileen. SMAK 4 graduate 2005/2006

Yeah!!!!
Finally, finally, finally, that hell of highschool is over!
Bye bye physics! Bye-bye chemistry! Bye byeeeeeeee..
Bye byeeee..

Okay, actually, that’s not the point. =P
Yang jelas, saya udah LULUS. Itu aja yang penting.
Nilainya? Belon tau nih. Hiks. Padahal musti kirim ke SMU juga.. Hueeeewwwww..
Kirim ke SMU? Kenapa semuanya jadi terasa surreal sekarang? Bukankah gw dah bakalan di UPH?
My my my. Kenapa masih begini sih?
I mean, gw rasa lebih baik bokap gw ga nyebut2 Singapur lagi kalo emang dia ga mau nyekolahin gw ke sono. Kalo emang dia mo nyerah ama nyokap gw.

Halah. Bullshit lah.
Gw tau, itu cuma harapan kosong. gw tau, dia cuma mau biar gw ga menghancur-hancurkan nilai gw di uph.
Eh sori ya. Gw bukan orang kayak gitu. Di manapun gw berada gw bakal berusaha make my most of it.

Eitz. Anyway, back to da topic. There’s no point talking about that again. Males. Mendingan, seperti yang sebelon-sebelonnya, pikirin yang happy2 aja..

Like, kapan ya gw dapet laptop? You know, typing on this PC really hurts my arm.. It’s not ergonomic and so tiring. Yew,,

The graduation was a very sleepy experience. Huwww.. Weeeww..
Sayang yah saya ga dapet apa2. Huahuahauhau.. Kalo ada gw pasti masuk nominasi tuuuhh.. =P
not a thing to be proud of, i suppose? Yew.

Anyway, back to the surreal thingy.
Gw dah submit student pass application gw. (which is so easy. Hell, everything can be done online in S’pore! No bureaucracy at all!)
Yeah, it felt surreal.
Like, what am I doing? Isn’t it already obvious that I’m not gonna continue there?
I mean, what the hell did I do? Why should I continue the process of application (and matriculation)?

I dunno. But I got the feeling that I gotta finish it.
To finish the unfinished thing in my heart.
To save it from the wounds.. Again..

Gw sedang wondering apakah gw bakal mengalami seperti yang dulu2 : ada petunjuk waktu gw dah mau nyerah.
Bacalah blog gw dari pertama (starting from here), lo semua bakal liat berapa kali gw mau nyerah nyoba SMU. Belon nyoba aja dah nyerah duluan. Hehehe.
Langsung gw inget sama pendaftaran SMU gw. Dan ngirim berkasnya. Dan akhirnya diinterview. Dan akhirnya dapet. (meskipun, tetep, provisional)

Entahlah. Sekarang rasanya SMU udah bener2 jauh dari gw…

all about four.. (why four??)

170606- i started to title my posts like i did in my old blog

Whew. I didn’t manage to post anything yesterday. I’ve been out since morning and came back at dark. Hehehe.
I became a crew for a concert. A choir concert, precisely. My sister is involved in that (well as a singer, of course). Now you know why she’s been singing all the time.
I became the usher. Not that hot singer, but, you know, the person who greets the audiences and escort them to the right seat according to their ticket.
Aaaarrhh why is my father testing that loud hi-fi when I’m listening to Michael Buble’s Home? And why is he playing that Mandarin song which I can’t understand a bit? Oh puh-leezzzzz… Oh and now he’s hitting that hi-fi. Lost your temper, dad? I gotta stop this winamp before I’m going crazy for hearing two songs intertwining. (which is so different. huhuhu)
Anyway, back to da topic.
Yeah, being an usher sounds easy, eh? Come on, how can you call greeting-and-escorting thing as difficult?
But theeeennn.. Greeting and escorting ain’t difficult at all. You know what’s difficult? Simply, the audiences. Yew.
I hate late people. I HATE late people. But you know what, their lateness is somehow tolerable. A bit. At the ticket, it clearly shows that the concert will begin at 7 PM. But what happened? That crazy conductor somehow decided to perform earlier. Duh. It was 6.50 when the MC came out from backstage. And I gotta tell people (lots of, FYI) to hurry to their seats. Argh.
But how can I tolerate the later people? Yew. Actually I want to stick to the rules, which stated that I could only open the door at the break time (after the first session). But then, seeing too many late people out there, the rule was aborted. I (with Cipta, another usher) had to open the door after one performance. Which was tiring. Now I wonder what’s gonna happen tomorrow (at Sunday) when there’s gonna be more people. my friend at the ticketing said that there had been more tickets sold for Sunday’s performance. Yew.
Oh yes, my father has stopped testing that trashy hi-fi.

Now please, back to my mother tongue.
Jadi intinya kawan2, saya capek bener dah kemaren. Tapi tetep ajah, dilanggar pulaaaa.. Oooohh tidaaaaakk.. mengapa mengapa..
Yang mo liat foto2 pas konser, silakan liat blog lewi ajah karena dialah sang seksi dokumentasi. hehehehe.
Sedangkan saya si ratu narsis (hehehe), cuma berfoto bersama usher2 lain.. Hehehe.. Inilah…
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
yeap, the outrageous ushers from the Choral Highlights Concert, Sylvia-Tissa-Cipta. Oh, Tissa is the outside usher, jadi dia yang bertanggung jawab robekin tiket. I’ll get a paper punch tomorrow jadinya tiket bukan cuma dirobek tapi bolong long long… Better that way, I think.. Hehehehe.

Being a crew for a concert is definitely tiring. Running here and there, hopping here and there, dealing with “difficult” people.. But after all, look at the bright side, I’m being paid, and I can see the concert for free! Hehehe. Although, I can’t concentrate fully to the concert, for I must keep an eye on the door. If only I could lock the door…
And after all, yang penting gw ada kerjaan. I mean, it’s more enjoyable than staring at an LCD monitor full-time. And spending money for my internet cost. huhuhuhuhu.
I can’t wait to go to Penang and Singapore! Although, I realize, that it’d be a tiring experience too.. (and this time, if I’m not wrong, I’m not gonna be paid. Sigh)

Now I gotta go, for I have nothing to blog more and I want to flirt somebody!!

Okay, I lied about the second one. But I really wanna flirt!

Okay, no no no. I’m just joking. This time I’m serious. Totally.
Ciao!

oh yeah, if you still wanna see the concert, then come right away to Goethe Haus, Jalan Sam Ratulangi (actually it’s written Jalan GSSY Ratulange on the mark) number 9-15, Jakarta. The concert will start at 7 PM, but make sure you’ll come before 6.30 PM if you want to get the ticket. No, I’m not gonna spread my number as the contact person. hehehe. But just get there right away and I’ll be waiting for you!

Ciao!
